What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to website owners.
Cookies can be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (remain on your device for a set period or until manually deleted). They can also be first-party (set by the site you are visiting) or third-party (set by a different domain).
How We Use Cookies
Responsive Test Tool is designed to be a privacy-first, client-side tool. We use an absolute minimum of cookies. Specifically, we only use cookies for the following purposes:
- Theme Preference: We store your light/dark mode preference locally so you don't have to re-select it each visit.
- UI Settings: Basic interface preferences (e.g., sidebar state, selected viewport) may be stored locally on your device.
- Cookie Consent: We store your cookie preferences so you are not shown the consent banner on every visit.

Third-Party Cookies
We use a very limited set of third-party services that may set their own cookies. These services have their own independent privacy and cookie policies.
If you consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the site in aggregate. This helps us improve the tool. Google Analytics uses pseudonymous identifiers and does not collect personally identifiable information through our implementation. We have IP anonymization enabled.

Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not want to be tracked. Because there is currently no industry-wide standard for responding to DNT signals, our site does not currently alter its behavior based on DNT headers.
However, given our minimal use of tracking technologies, this has limited practical impact for most users. If you would like to ensure no analytics data is collected, you can disable analytics cookies using the preference center in Section 05 above.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, technical, or business reasons. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If you disagree with any changes, you should adjust your cookie preferences or discontinue use of the site.
